Unhinged is now available on Netflix
The psychological thriller “Unhinged” starring Russell Crowe has arrived on Netflix. The movie, which will appeal to action and thriller lovers, has already made a big impact on the platform.
In the film, Crowe plays Tom Cooper, a mentally unstable man who, after a minor argument in traffic, goes out of control against a mother named Rachel (Caren Pistorius). What begins with a simple honk turns into a revengeful rampage as Cooper accuses Rachel of provoking him and seeks revenge.
Unable to forget the incident, Cooper begins to systematically stalk and torment Rachel. He also uses increasingly disturbing and dangerous methods. Rachel struggles to protect herself and her young son against Cooper, who grows more unstable with each new move.
Directed by Derrick Borte, Unhinged was released in theaters last summer to mixed reviews. However, the movie managed to deliver the action expected from a Russell Crowe thriller. With its arrival on Netflix, it will appeal to a whole new audience.
The movie managed to score 48 percent on Rotten Tomatoes and 6 on IMDb. The movie also showed how terrible road rage can be.
